Dan Kuhn—President and Chief Executive Officer
Dan is also President of SMIG and has spent over 25 years in various senior officer positions in the insurance industry. Prior to co-founding SMIG he was chief Sales Officer at HPA , a market leader in the sales and administration of niche health products. Previous to HPA he spent 10 years at Mutual of Omaha where he was VP of Sales responsible for all brokerage Health and Accident sales and marketing. At OIS he is responsible for establishing the overall business strategy and direction of the company and to make sure it is consistent with the strategic direction of SMIG and for communicating this vision and purpose to all employees and interested parties. His success in building a wholesale distribution model at SMIG to deliver substantial sales growth will be instrumental in the success of OIS as well.

Chris Peden, CPA—Chief Financial Officer
Chris has thirteen years of experience in the tax and accounting field. As the managing partner for Peden & Associates, LLP, he has oversight responsibilities for over 1,000 tax returns of high net worth individuals and 500 small to mid-size corporation or entity returns. Chris was elected to a three year term as council member of Friendswood, TX in May 2005 and as Mayor Pro-Tem of Friendswood, TX in June 2006. In 2000, he was elected President of the Board of Directors of Hope Foundation. This foundation provides housing and care to 70 mentally handicapped individuals from low income families. The foundation funds this care without any government assistance and relies solely on private contributions. Cygnus Holdings, LLC is a privately controlled and funded real estate investment venture focusing on small professional rental real estate.

Angel Worley—Chief Operating Officer
Angel is primarily responsible for the development of the technology and infrastructure of Online Insurance Services, Inc. since it's inception in 2004. Her years of experience as the Senior Programmer/Analyst developing insurance and financial software at Software Industries, Inc. led to a role at OIS where she served as President for two years. Now under the management of SMIG, Angel will continue to oversee the operations of OIS focusing on excellence in customer and agent satisfaction through our technology and services.
